Fight line-ups are a nebulous affair with injuries and unforeseen circumstances making change the norm. UFC 88 is no different with two fighters experiencing the injury bug, forcing them off the card in Atlanta.

Canadian fighter Jason Day has experienced an undisclosed injury and will be replaced by fellow Canadian Jason MacDonald against Jason Lambert. Jason Lambert is dropping from Light Heavyweight to Middleweight and will more than likely outweight the taller Jason MacDonald at fight time.

James Lee also suffered an undisclosed injury and will be replaced by Mike Patt against Tim Boetsch. Mike Patt is a Bodog veteran but a UFC newcomer with a 12 and 2 record.
