Tim Boetsch to Fight Hammill |
|
Tim Boetsch who replaced Tomasz Drwal and dominated David Heath in UFC 81, is again playing the replacement role. Tim will be taking the place of the injured Stephan Bonnar and fighting TUF alumnus Matt Hammill, according to MMAWeekly.
After his last decisive fight, Tim was uncertain yet optimistic concerning his chances on fighting in the UFC for a repeat performance. “Just from the response from the fans and everybody that saw (UFC 81), I think they’re going to have a hard time not bringing me back,” Boetsch said. “So I’m looking forward to getting back in there for them, hopefully in the near future, and putting on another good show.“
The powers-that-be in the UFC were obviously impressed with his first round TKO victory over David Heath and have re-invited the Pennsylvania native back into the Octagon. He will be taking on Matt Hammill, a very strong wrestler and ex-TUF participant, at UFC Fight Night 13. |
