Rampage's Arraignment Postponed Indefinitely

Quinton Jackson's arraignment on charges stemming from his hit-and-run followed by the high speed chase that occurred earlier in the month have been postponed indefinitely, according to the Orange County District Attorney's office.

Quinton was arrested last month following a high speed chase where he struck three vehicles, ran numerous red lights, almost ran over some pedestrians, and was then hauled from his custom truck by the Costa Mesa Police officers. One of the victims of the hit-and-run was pregnant at the time and subsequently suffered a miscarriage.

The indefinite postponement does not mean that Rampage is free and clear. New evidence has been reported and the D.A. wants time to sort through the new facts.

“The district attorney’s office is responsible for filing charges and [Jackson’s] case is still under investigation based on some new evidence that has been discovered,” Orange County D.A. Spokesperson Farrah Emami told Sherdog.com. “There were different incidents that occurred in different jurisdictions. We’re looking at all of this as one potential case. The recommendations of the police are taken into consideration, but it could be more charges or less charges, depending on what the evidence reports.”
