MMA Live, a ESPN.com web-only original, is rumored to be hitting the airwaves soon. Host Kenny Florian spoke about the potential deal on Tagg Radio and said it is "very, very close" to being finalized.
So When Exactly? "I don't want to let the cat out of the bag, but soon," Florian said. "The next couple of month, we're hoping to get [MMA Live] on ESPN or ESPN 2, and the sponsors are getting on board as we speak, so we should have a deal very, very soon. We're all very pumped."
The thirty minute MMA-only show is similar in format to the rest of ESPN's "Live" lineup (NFL Live, MLB Live, etc) with commentary, guest hosts, stellar production values, and video clips from all of MMA, including UFC.
MMA Live is currently published on ESPN's site at 6 P.M. every Thursday. |
