Kimbo Slice, YouTube legend and MMA fighter, will be fighting MMA Legend Ken Shamrock on the next EliteXC CBS card Oct. 4th. EliteXC vice president Jared Shaw (Gary Shaw's son) confirmed the rumors on ESPN Radio 1100 in Las Vegas. The bout will take place during primetime on CBS and will show from the BankAtlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Kimbo (3-0) won his last match against James Thompson in a controversial third round stoppage after Kimbo landed a few hard blows and rocked James but didn't put him out, this after laying on the ground and taking close to thirty unabated blows to the head in the second round.

Ken Shamrock, one of the legends of MMA , has lost five straight (two against Tito Ortiz), is winless in this decade, and some consider him past his prime. However, he is probably the best submission expert to date that Kimbo Slice has faced and should provide some competition to hone the still-green talent that is Kimbo Slice.

The rumored opponents for Kimbo before Ken signed the fight contract were Sean Gannon, a part-time MMA fighter and full time cop who beat Kimbo on Youtube, or Brett Rogers, a legitimate heavyweight slugger.

One of the more interesting theories on the Internet is the possibility of an EliteXC PPV and the matchups thereon that are notably absent on this CBS card: Carano vs Cyborg, Diaz vs Noons, and possibly Slice vs Rogers.
