Edith Labelle Comes Clean on Dismissal

Edith Labelle, the boob-some brunette that was recently dismissed from the UFC as an Octagon girl, has spoken with "AOL Fanhouse" about the details of the incident. Essentially, she blames food poisoning for her dismissal.

Edith Labelle
“After the UFC Expo and weigh-ins (at UFC 100), I went to dinner,” Labelle told AOL FanHouse. “Then I attended some of the pre-parties with some of the UFC management, some of the octagon girls, some of the fighters. And then I started to feel ill. I wasn’t feeling good, so I decided to go to bed. I really wanted to be in good shape for the next day, obviously. Then I started to feel worse throughout the night and the next day.”

Edith goes on to admit that despite her acute illness, she did not go to a doctor for assistance. When contacting the UFC officials the next day concerning her condition, they told her to stay in her room.

Labelle was then released from her position shortly after UFC 100 and rumors spread on the Internet that she was hung over and that was the reason for her absence.

Labelle told AOL FanHouse she holds no ill feelings toward the UFC, and she is currently working on a number of new projects that include acting and fitness modeling.
