Carlos Condit, the current 170lb. WEC Champion, has had his contract extended, according to his announcement at this last weekends UWC. Prior to the extension, Carlos has one more fight left on his contract.

The extension is for four fights and speaks volumes for the WEC and their assessment of the current champion. Carlos is undefeated in the WEC (4-0) and one of a growing coterie of young and exciting fighters that the organization is locking down, along with Urijah Faber and Brian Stann.

Carlos Condit last defeated Houston native Carlo Prater with ease and is awaiting his next opponent.
