PRIDE veteran Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Frank Mir will be the coaches for next season's Ultimate Fighter, the eighth iteration of the venerable reality series that launched MMA. Next season will feature both the light heavyweights and lightweights. The two heavyweights will then face off against each other at a later PPV date that has not been announced yet.

DREAM.3 went down over the weekend and out of the 8 fights that happened, 4 of them featured non-Japanese victors. Jason Miller, Eddie Alvarez, Nick Diaz, and Melvin Manhoef all won over their counterparts. The event featured matches in the Lightweight and Middleweight Grand Prix with other fights mixed in for pure entertainment value. DREAM is a new Japanese promotion that has risen from the PRIDE dust and is a partnership between K-1 (FEG) and Dream Stage Entertainment (ex-PRIDE).

Pro-Elite and DREAM have officially become partners after meeting together this weekend before the DREAM.3 event. The two promotions have put together a working partnership where fighters, air-time, and even some resources are up for sharing.

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. -- As a Chicago policeman, Mike Russow has become accustomed to dangerous situations.

So, it is understandable when Russow only smiles and refers to fighting veteran Jeff Monson in a professional mixed martial arts bout as a "great opportunity." Russow, 9-1 in his pro career, takes on Monson, 23-7, in the heavyweight main event of Adrenaline MMA on June 14 at the Sears Centre.

A wide array of changes and news updates are here courtesy of the International Fight League. The promotion addresses their recent financial bind, changes they are making to make their cards have more appeal, and both Ryan Schultz and Ryan McGivern address the media ahead of their title defenses May 16th in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Those of you that follow the radio show, know that I am addicted to The Ultimate Fighter. I wait with bated breath each week for my fix of the manly Soap Opera that Spike TV meters out in small doses. The fights have been better than average this season but there is one fighter that is highly annoying, Jeremy May. Yes, BAMF himself (Big Ass Mother F***er, that's the nickname he gave himself). Anyways, we all love to loathe the arrogant, slothful kid and apparently so do the fighters.
