Pete Spratt defeated fellow UFC veteran Jason Von Flue in the first couple of minute of the first round at Ultimate Warriors Challenge over the weekend. The UWC runs in the nations capital and is a breeding ground for MMA fighters. Pete and Jason were the main events for the promotion.

Pete managed to catch Jason on a shot right as he changed levels. "On a couple of his shot attempts, he was ducking under my punches," said Spratt, "I thought the next time he shoots, I'm going to throw low and that's what I did. I caught him on the throat and stopped the blood-flow to the brain."

Pete dominated from the the bell all the way to the KO and was a good comeback after losing a controversial decision to Ryan Ford in Canada at MFC.
