The CBS card ratings weren't as impressive as their debut event, which was to be expected without the star power of Kimbo and Gina. According to www.f4wonline.com, The overnight ratings for the CBS Fights did 2.62 million viewers, down nearly 50% from the debut with Kimbo. Ratings for the event were around 1.9.

Kimbo Slice is finally getting his bread. He recently moved from Triumph United to a major sponsorship from TapouT, a mixed martial arts lifestyle company with their own reality show on Versus. Speaking of reality shows, TapouT is finally going forward with season 2 of their original series.

Although bereft of any Kimbo action, the EliteXC "Unfinished Business" went off with a bang. 3 championships were determined (2 on CBS - one on Showtime), many punches were thrown, and a submission was slapped on to round out the event. Not one of the CBS-aired fights went to decision and led up to a very fast night.

The UFC recently announced three new fights for their Sept. 6th card, in Atlanta, Georgia. Rich Franklin will be fighting Matt Hammill; Karo Parisyan will be fighting Yoshiyuki Yoshida; and Dan Henderson will be fighting Rousimar Palhares. These were added on top of the main event, Chuck Liddell vs. Rashad Evans.

The Miller brothers, Dan and Jim, have both inked fight contract with Zuffa LLC, MMAJunkie has confirmed. Mike Constantino, AMA trainer and manager for the brothers, would not reveal the financial terms of the contracts but did comment that they were 4 fight deals.

SPIKE TV has released their numbers for the UFC:Silva vs. Irvin card, scoring an average of 2.1 for the whole card and a peak of 3.8 million viewers during the main event.
