Sokoudjou has been under a bit of fire lately. First, his flame-out in the UFC where he lost two out of three fights in the big leagues, and then his loss to Renato Sobral where he gassed yet again on his inaugural bout for Affliction. Now, when Japan invites him back to the "Land of the Rising Sun" where he was most successful, he continued to pound on a guy (Jan Nortje) even after the referee had jumped in between him and his vanquished opponent. One has to wonder what is going through the African Assassin's mind? The Team Quest fighter and Henderson Protege went on Inside MMA to explain why he suddenly snapped at the latest DREAM card.

UFC's 101 card, starring BJ Penn v Kenny Florian and Forrest Griffin v Anderson Silva, has been finalized with two additional bouts on the undercard, making for 11 fights total to be fought August 8th. A rematch between Shane Nelson and Aaron Riley and a fight between Thales Leites and Alessio Sakara have been added, each with their own implications behind the matchups. |

Dana White took to the stage Thursday night on Spike TV during the VGA's and announced "UFC Undisputed 2010". The sequel will follow closely on the heels of an already critically acclaimed and wildly popular "UFC Undisputed 2009", which nabbed 2 spots in the top 10 in Australia. The top games for North America during May have not been released yet, but there have been various reports of sell outs across the country.

Frank Trigg, broadcaster and fighter extraordinaire, announced on MMAJunkie Radio that he has rejoined the welterweight ranks in the UFC. The 37 year old fighter has signed a 4 fight contract with his old organization after a long stint outside the UFC where he went 9 and 2. Inside the UFC back in 2004 and 2005, he was 2 and 3 with two huge losses against Matt Hughes (Seen on the UFC intro to this day) and a single loss against George St. Pierre. |
